Introduction:
Adhoc is looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to assist walk-in, online, and telephone customers with a positive, friendly, and efficient approach. The role focuses on maximizing sales opportunities while ensuring excellent customer service according to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement all company standard operating procedures consistently.
  • Provide accurate customer service, including quality checks and follow-up calls.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Generate sales through face-to-face, online, or telephone interactions.
  • Keep regular customers updated on product and service changes.
  • Contact priority customers daily before 8:30 AM to confirm orders.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets assigned by the Branch Manager.
  • Communicate new product/service opportunities and customer feedback to supervisors.
  • Capture and manage cutting lists accurately; ensure approvals via WhatsApp or email are documented.
  • Identify sales opportunities and upsell higher-value products where appropriate.
  • Promote slow-moving and dead stock items as guided by management.
  • Update quotation trackers and follow through until orders are confirmed and paid.
  • Find at least two new customers per month and explore additional business opportunities.
  • Maintain showrooms, sales counters, and workspaces to ensure cleanliness and correct labeling.
  • Actively promote monthly specials and drive sales.
  • Respond to customer queries via email or telephone within two hours.
  • Participate in quarterly stock takes.

Requirements & Qualifications for Sales Consultant Position:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent; a sales certificate/diploma is advantageous.
  • Minimum 12 months of sales experience.
  • Computer literate (Google Apps, MS Office – Excel, Word).
  • Bilingual and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong product knowledge with the ability to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Energetic, confident, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Own transport and willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
  • Good physical health.
